Beverage Line Quotation Checklist

Prepare the right information before asking for a beverage machinery quotation. A clear RFQ makes supplier comparison more reliable.

Beverage Line Quotation Checklist

RFQ Information Checklist

Send practical project facts, not only a keyword or machine name.

Information Why it matters
Product type Defines process, hygiene and filling method
Container and volume Affects bottle handling, moulds, caps, labels and packing
Target capacity per hour Sets machine size and line balance
Required equipment scope Prevents quotations from missing treatment, blowing, labeling or packing
Destination country and voltage Affects electrical configuration, shipment and documents
Factory layout Helps check space, utilities and installation feasibility

Decision Points

Use these points to clarify scope before comparing suppliers.

  • Do not compare quotations unless equipment scope is similar
  • Clarify whether you need complete line or only a replacement machine
  • Share water report, formula category or bottle drawings when available
  • Ask suppliers to separate required modules and optional modules

Request a Quotation

Implementation detail

Make every supplier quote the same duty

Engineering basis

Attach a product-package matrix listing beverage, physical properties, filling condition, container, closure, label, final pack and required saleable output. Then add factory dimensions, raw-water analysis, utility conditions, destination, voltage, documentation, installation boundary and acceptance method.

Quotation and handover

Require suppliers to identify assumptions, exclusions, optional modules, buyer-supplied items and reference materials. A quotation is not comparable when one supplier includes water treatment, conveyors, coding, spares and commissioning while another provides only the filler under the same line name.

Keep assumptions visible

Final equipment depends on confirmed product, package, saleable output, utilities, factory conditions, destination requirements and acceptance responsibilities. Unconfirmed items should remain documented assumptions or separately priced options.
